حقائق سريعة: بُنيت القلعة في خمسينيات القرن الرابع عشر وكانت معقلًا لدوقية ليتوانيا الكبرى في مواجهة فرسان التيوتون. اليوم تضم متحفًا يضم أكثر من 2,000 قطعة، من الأسلحة القروسطية إلى الأثاث العتيق.
النقاط البارزة: أعيد بناء الجزء الداخلي للقلعة مؤخرًا بلوحات جدارية جديدة ونابضة بالحياة تصور مشاهد من البلاط القروسطي لدوقات ليتوانيا. قاعة العرش هي جوهرة صغيرة بزخارف ذهبية ونقوش خشبية تنقلك مباشرة إلى القرن الرابع عشر.
