حقائق سريعة: أعشاش لقلق ضخمة تكلّل المئذنة المدمرة والأسوار، وتتعالى قعقعة مناقيرها في أرجاء الحدائق. كشفت الحفريات الرومانية هنا عن معبد وحمّامات ومنتدى تسبق المقابر المرينية القروسطية المبنية على الأرض المقدسة نفسها.
النقاط البارزة: يُقال إن النبع المقدس داخل الأسوار يشفي العقم، وما تزال نساء المنطقة يربطن شرائط خضراء على أشجار التين العتيقة المجاورة له. في أمسية هادئة، يمكنك مشاهدة ثعابين الماء تنزلق في البركة نفسها التي ترك فيها الرومان قرابينهم لآلهتهم.
