Datos rápidos: La embarcación mide 43,6 metros de largo y fue reconstruida a partir de 1.224 tablones de cedro y acacia atados con cuerda, sin un solo clavo o clavija. Al levantar su cubierta de foso de piedra caliza en 1954 se revelaron 650 piezas perfectamente apiladas, y el foso aún conservaba un leve aroma a cedro y resina después de 4.500 años.
