Acerca de
Datos rápidos: A continuously operating bath complex for over 400 years, where you can admire a stunning example of Persian architecture. Beneath the enormous domes covered with colorful mosaics and mirror decorations, not only a bathhouse but also a bazaar awaits, where you can buy handmade products.
Destacados: Sunlight filters through hundreds of tiny openings in the inner side of the dome, creating a starry sky above the pools even during the day. Standing under the 12-meter-high ceiling adorned with colorful glass mosaics, you almost forget that you are in an underground structure.
Consejos de expertos
- You can take the best photos in the mirror hall around noon, when the sunlight directly illuminates the shiny surfaces.
- Buy a freshly baked Persian bread in the bazaar before entering the bathhouse, and the experience will instantly feel more authentic.
- It is worth peeking into the resting alcoves next to the pools, where massages and wraps were once offered.
- It is best to come on weekday mornings, when you can almost explore the place on your own.
