Los visitantes se detienen junto a la ornamentada puerta manuelina y los claustros de piedra fresca, donde pequeños azulejos y bancos tallados susurran siglos de vida insular.
Destacados: Al entrar, tu vista queda atrapada por un deslumbrante techo de madera artesonado de estilo mudéjar tallado y pintado a principios de 1500, un mosaico de ocre, índigo y oro que huele ligeramente a resina cuando el sol calienta los paneles. La leyenda local dice que generaciones de carpinteros de barcos prestaron su madera y nombres a las vigas talladas, así que si escuchas con atención puedes imaginar el crujido de cascos y la sal marina entre el silencio de las oraciones.
