About

Insider tips

  • Arrive at opening or after 4 pm to avoid tour groups and long lines.
  • Start at the top gallery and spiral down around the central tank for the best uninterrupted views and photo angles.
  • Wear a light layer and comfortable shoes, the building can feel cool and involves a fair amount of walking.
  • Check the daily schedule for feeding talks at the central tank, they offer the best close encounters and photo opportunities.

Arrived at 9am, almost no line and calm views of the huge central tank. Ticket was 19€, the short guided talk was worth the extra fee; skip the overpriced cafe.

Went at 2pm on a Saturday and it was packed, expect queues for exhibits. Kids loved the touch pools but the special shark feed was 6€ and felt too short.
