Datos rápidos: Ubicada en un convento del siglo XVI, la colección abarca más de 500 años de historia de la fabricación de azulejos. Un monumental panorama de 36 metros de largo del Lisboa anterior al terremoto está creado a partir de 1.300 paneles de azulejo individuales.
Destacados: Entra en la iglesia del convento y mira hacia arriba: las paredes brillan con tallas doradas y azulejos azules y blancos que se elevan 20 metros hacia el techo. El claustro en sí está envuelto en un friso de azulejos del siglo XVII que representa escenas pastorales, donde cada panel cuenta una pequeña historia visual a lo largo de 30 metros de pasillo arqueado.
