Datos rápidos: Encaramada en un promontorio rocoso, esta fortificación militar albergó una vez un cañón de 381 mm capaz de lanzar un proyectil de casi 900 kilogramos a más de 30 kilómetros. El enorme cañón nunca fue disparado en combate, y la estructura ofrece ahora una de las vistas panorámicas más impresionantes de la costa de Liguria que jamás encontrarás.
Destacados: La magia real ocurre al final del sinuoso sendero costero cuando doblas la última curva: el enorme cañón oxidado aún gira sobre sus rieles, apuntando silenciosamente hacia el mar. En días despejados, se puede divisar Córcega en el horizonte, y los búnkeres de concreto están cubiertos de matorral mediterráneo silvestre y flores que brotan de color amarillo brillante y púrpura en primavera.
