मुख्य आकर्षण: महाराजा मर्तंड सिंह ने पास के जंगलों में व्यक्तिगत रूप से दुनिया के पहले दर्ज किए गए सफेद बाघ के शावक को पकड़ा था और उसे अपने निजी चिड़ियाघर में पाला था, ऐसा शावक जिसके वंशज आज भी दुनिया भर के चिड़ियाघरों में रहते हैं। सुबह की तिरछी रोशनी दर्पण-मोज़ेक वाले दरबार हॉल को हज़ारों नाचते हुए टिमटिमाते कणों में बदल देती है, जबकि उसके पीछे के पत्थर की सीढ़ियों पर शाही हाथियों के पड़े खांचे आज भी दिखते हैं।
