Visit on a match day for the full atmospheric experience, but book a stadium tour on non-match days for better access to the dressing rooms and pitchside. Weekday morning tours (10:00-11:00) are quietest with smaller groups.

Standard stadium tours cost £27 for adults and £18 for children (2024 prices), with discounts for students and seniors. The Liverpool City Explorer pass includes a 10% discount on tour tickets, and booking online in advance saves you 10% compared to gate prices.

Visit the Hillsborough Memorial outside the stadium before your tour, as it's more meaningful before you see the club's tribute inside.
Sit in row 88 of the Kop stand during the tour to experience the steepest, highest seat in the stadium.
Book the Legends Tour (about £65) if you want access to the manager's office and boardroom, areas the standard tour skips.
Arrive 20 minutes early to explore the Liverpool FC museum exhibits before your tour begins, as the tour structure loops back to the museum exit.
