Come in the morning between 07.00 and 09.00, when the water is calmest and the light penetrates the gap perfectly. The dry season from June to December provides the most stable weather for swimming all day.

There is no entrance ticket for swimming at the site; the only expense is a water taxi across the harbor, around 1 dollar one way. Bring your own food and drinking water because there are no stalls along the trail.

見どころ: 幅約10メートルのこの割れ目は高さ8メートルの溶岩の崖を分断しており、水はとても澄んでいるため、表面から底まで二つの異なる色が見えます。北側のサンゴ礁の割れ目から浸み出す強い流れは海の呼吸のように感じられ、経験豊富な泳者はその暗い通路を外洋に向かって数百メートル進むことができます。

Wear water shoes or beach sandals, because the rocks around the crevice are sharp and the iron stairs can be slippery.
