概要
クイックファクト: 樹木に囲まれた小道、葦に覆われた湖の縁、そして石灰岩の舗道が混ざり合い、一時間以内で静かな森から風に吹かれる湖岸へと切り替えができます。ルート沿いには150以上の植物種が自生し、バードウォッチャーは静かな小道でコハクチョウ、メンフクロウ、チドリをよく見かけます。
見どころ: ねじれたライムの木に近づいてください。そこにはイェーツ、レディ・グレゴリー、その他の文学仲間が刻んだイニシャルがかすかに傷跡を残しており、近くのベンチで交わされた生き生きとした会話の触覚的なつながりを感じられます。穏やかな夕暮れ時には湖面が蛙の合唱を映し出し、空気は湿った土と焚き火の煙の匂いに満ちています。その薄明かりの中、十数羽のコハクチョウがゆったりと湖を漂います。
