見どころ: 要塞として改装された古代ローマの霊廟には、教皇たちが包囲下での避難路として使用した、バチカンまで約800メートルに及ぶパセット・ディ・ボルゴと呼ばれる秘密の通路があります。巨大な円筒形の建造物には、590年の疫病の際に伝説的な出現の後、建造された大天使ミカエルの印象的な像もあり、地元の人々によれば、神聖な守護の感覚をもたらすとされています。
