概要
クイックファクト: カーリャリから300メートル上空の丘の頂上に位置するこの13世紀の要塞からは、天使湾を見渡すパノラマの景色が広がる。4つの防御塔にはそれぞれ異なる名前と目的があり、サン・パンクラーツィオ塔は高さ30メートルで最も高い。
見どころ: 夕暮れ時には白い石灰岩の壁が黄金色に輝き、カーリャリの街全体がその下にミニチュアの王国のように広がる。訪問者のほとんどは、古代の城壁に沿って歩き、石に今も完全に保存されている14世紀の矢狭間を見つけられることに気づいていない。

- 混雑日はメイン入口ではなく、サン・パンクラーツィオ塔の門から入ると列を回避できる。
- 夕暮れ時に城壁を訪れると、手前にカーリャリの赤い屋根を配した最もドラマチックな写真が撮影できる。
