概要
クイックファクト: 何十年もの間、この巨大な海岸要塞は放置され忘れ去られ、その砲台は地中海の空に錆びついていた。150万ユーロの修復を経てようやく2022年に再開され、かつて何百人もの兵士が駐屯していた軍事施設群が明らかになった。
見どころ: 司令官の宿舎に足を踏み入れると、壁からまだ剥がれかけた幽玄な壁画が見つかるだろう。駐屯兵たちが自らの手で描いたもので、彼らは自分たちが必死で守りたかったアルプスの風景や山小屋を bunkroom に描いたのだ。広大な弾薬トンネルは地下15メートルまで続き、ひんやりとして反響する迷宮の中で、聞こえるのは海水の滴る音だけである。
