見どころ: 標高3,776メートルの頂上の広い火口の縁は、日の出のパノラマを映し出し、斜面を黄金と影で満たします。巡礼者は今も5合目の神社に立ち寄り、小さな木製の絵馬を残し鈴を鳴らします。触覚的な儀式は夜明け前の暗闇に低く金属的な音色を満たします。
