クイックファクト: 巨大な中央タンクには優雅なジンベエザメが深い青の水中を滑るように泳ぎ、訪問者はまるで大海の生き物と共に浮かんでいるような酔う感覚を味わいます。らせん状の回廊を巡り、遊び好きのカワウソ、輝くクラゲ、触って楽しめるタッチプールなど突然の親密な出会いに驚き、全体の体験が生きていて思いがけず個人的に感じられます。
見どころ: ガラス張りの坂を登りながら15の生息環境タンクを通り過ぎます。各タンクは異なる色で照らされており、水は薄紫からネオンブルーへと変わります。やがて540万リットルの中央タンクに面し、穏やかなジンベエザメがゆっくり動く生きた潜水艦のように浮かびます。餌やりの時間にはダイバーがトーチとイワシの手束を持ってタンクに入り、水中に響く拍手の音と食べ物の銀色の雨が、アカエイや魚の群れを踊るように回わせ、胸に感じるバレエのような光景を作り出します。
