概要

見どころ: ガルヴェ湖の真ん中の小さな島に建てられたトラカイ城は、東ヨーロッパ全体で唯一の島の城である。深紅のゴシック様式の装飾が施された石造りの要塞が、青緑色の水面から浮かび上がる様子を想像してほしい。特に夕日が城を金色に染める時、その光景は息をのむほど美しい。

- Visit the Karaite kiosk in the center of Trakai for authentic kibinai (minced meat in dough) before you leave.
- The inside of the castle has long queues at noon - arrive right after opening or after 4:00 PM for peace and quiet.
- Wear shoes with good grip if you plan to climb the towers - the stairs are narrow and made of wrought wood.
