概要

クイックファクト: ヴィルニア川のほとりにひっそりと佇むこの静寂の空間は、15世紀にフランシスコ会修道士が薬草を栽培していた時代にまで遡る。現在、8.5ヘクタールの敷地には8000種以上の花が咲き誇り、修復された18世紀のパビリオン、そして市内で最も写真映えする川沿いの遊歩道がある。

見どころ: 庭園の鉄製の門をよく見てみると、18世紀に地元の職人が手で鍛え上げたオリジナルの作品で、今でも職人の刻印が残っている。夏の夕方、空気は200種類以上の昔ながらのバラの香りで満たされる。これらのバラは、修道院の元々の薬草園の配置を再現するように意図的に植えられている。
