クイックファクト: 200以上の店舗がひしめくこの屋根付き迷路では、商人たちが何世紀にもわたって乳香、スパイス、織物を取引してきました。オマーン銀細工のジュエリー、刺繍が施されたカンジャル（儀式用短剣）、そしてアッタール（香油）がその場で調合される専門の香水スークもあります。
見どころ: 狭い路地を通り抜けて奥の角に行くと、ひとりの年老いた銀細工職人が、五世代にわたって受け継がれてきた技法を用いて、今なお手作業で婚礼用ジュエリーに彫金を施しています。幅わずか3メートルほどの彼の小さな工房で作られる作品は、完成までに丸二週間を要し、インドからの大量生産品よりも安価です。
