クイックファクト: きらめく汽水域のラグーンには300種以上の鳥類が生息し、フラミンゴやチュウヒの群れが岸辺の小道からよく見える。低地の水田とヨシ原が、土の緑と鏡のような水面のパッチワークを形成し、柔らかな朝の光を求めて訪れる写真家やバードウォッチャーを魅了している。
見どころ: 夜明けの黄金の光がヨシ原と浅いラグーンに広がり、オレンジとピンクの帯が静かな水面に映る。何百ものサギとシラサギが岸のすぐ近くで魚を捕る。近くの田んぼでは香り高いボンバ米が栽培され、地元の人々は夜明けに細い木造の小舟を今も押し出す。焦がした米のかすかなキャラメルの香りが潮風に混ざり、朝がまるで食べられそうな感覚を呼び起こす。
