Korte feiten: In het midden van het wateroppervlak staat een fontein met drie etages uit 1930, die na het vallen van de duisternis met kleurrijke schijnwerpers oplicht. Een groep van enkele tientallen eenden en zwanen leeft hier het hele jaar door en zwemt naar wandelaars toe om kruimels op te pikken.
Hoogtepunten: De kleurrijke reflecties van de fontein met drie etages drijven 's avonds over het wateroppervlak, en op een windstille nacht weerkaatsen vallende druppels het paleislicht als duizenden kleine munten. Je vindt hier de minste mensen bij zonsopgang, wanneer een paar zwanen het water helemaal voor zich alleen hebben en uit de tuin alleen het knarsen van grind onder de voeten komt.
