Korte feiten: Zwemmen door een nauwe kloof leidt u naar een prachtige waterval verborgen in een grot. Het kristalheldere turquoise water blijft het hele jaar door een verfrissende 25°C, waardoor het voor elk seizoen perfect is voor een duik.
Hoogtepunten: Binnen in die grot doordringen zonnestralen door openingen in het rotsplafond, waardoor natuurlijke schijnwerpers op het smaragdgroene water eronder ontstaan. Ga direct onder een van deze lichtbundels staan en het water gloeit elektrisch blauw dat verschuift terwijl wolken bovenlangs trekken.
Insidertips
- Wear sturdy water shoes with good grip, the rocks are slippery and sharp in sections.
- Leave your phone in a dry bag, you'll be swimming through several deep pools to reach the cave.
- Head straight to the cave first before exploring the lower pools to have it nearly to yourself.
- Pack a small flashlight or use your phone light to illuminate the cave walls and spot the waterfall.
