De Hall of Steel, een zeven verdiepingen tellend glazen atrium, is bekleed met 3.000 afzonderlijke stukken pantser en wapens, gerangschikt in oogverblindende displays van vloer tot plafond.

- Head straight to the Hall of Steel on level 3 first, the views through the glass atrium are spectacular before crowds build up.
- The live combat shows run at set times check the schedule on arrival so you don't miss the jousting demonstrations.
- Don't skip the top floor galleries which hold the curious oddities like the 'sword of mercy' and a pistol disguised as a book.
- Photography is allowed without flash everywhere, but the low light in the War Gallery means you'll want a steady hand or tripod.
