Korte feiten: Dit kleine driehoekige plein meet slechts 30 meter in doorsnee en trekt toch honderden bezoekers per dag tijdens de zomermaanden. Cafés hier vragen hoge prijzen voor het voorrecht om mensen te kijken terwijl superjachten op slechts een paar stappen afstand in de haven liggen.
Hoogtepunten: Kijk naar de keien op de grond en je vindt een mozaïek van een wild zwijn, een speelse knipoog naar de jachtgeschiedenis van Portofino, ingelegd in het midden van het plein. Bij zonsondergang krijgen de pastelgevels van de omliggende huizen een diepe zalmroze kleur die weerkaatst op het water en een gloed creëert waar fotografen naar op jacht gaan.
