Fatos rápidos: Esta cachoeira, que corre pelas densas florestas do distrito de Ratnapura, cai de uma altura de 30 metros e tem o formato exato de uma folha da árvore Bodhi. Caindo em três níveis, suas águas desaguam no rio Kuruviya, que mais adiante se torna parte do rio Kalu.
Destaques: Na estação chuvosa, quando o fluxo de água está no auge, o rugido da cachoeira pode ser ouvido claramente a um quilômetro de distância, e os borrifos d'água criam um espetáculo de arco-íris ao redor. Os moradores locais acreditam que banhar-se sob esta cachoeira cura doenças de pele, razão pela qual milhares de devotos vêm aqui todos os anos.

- Wear shoes with good grip due to the narrow valley and slippery path; going in slippers or sandals can be dangerous.
- There is a small platform on the left side of the waterfall which offers the best photo angle of the entire waterfall; reach there before 8 am on weekends.
- Do not swim directly under the waterfall, the water pressure can be very strong; instead bathe in the natural pool formed on the side.
- There are no food shops nearby, so be sure to carry a water bottle and some light snacks with you.
