Hitre informacije: Je najstarejši aktivni svetilnik na Jadranu, njegova svetloba pa je prvič zasijala leta 1818. Električno energijo je dobil šele leta 1960, do takrat pa so ga vzdrževali trije čuvaji, ki so se izmenjevali v osemurnih izmenah.
Poudarki: Kamen za njegovo gradnjo so pripeljali z ladjami iz kamnoloma na otoku Brač, istega, iz katerega je zgrajena tudi Dioklecijanova palača v Splitu. S 36 metrov višine se odpira pogled na tri države hkrati: Hrvaško, Slovenijo in Italijo, ob jasnih dneh pa so vidne celo obrise Alp.

- Wear comfortable sneakers as the path to the lighthouse is rocky and uneven, not suitable for high heels.
- The best photos are taken from the stone shore to the right of the lighthouse, where you can also capture the old stone pier in the frame.
- Avoid June weekends as it can get crowded here due to nearby campsites.
- Bring a windbreaker even in good weather, as the bora wind can appear suddenly and blow very strongly.
