Poudarki: Na trgu je več kot 15.000 stojnic razporejenih v približno 27 oddelkih, vsako soboto in nedeljo tam kroži okoli 200.000 obiskovalcev; vonj po praženih arašidih, kokosovih palačinkah khanom krok in žaru se prepleta z zvokom prodajalcev in šumenjem velikih ventilatorjev nad glavami. V enem od oddelkov se kopičijo tisoči orhidej, bonsajev in mesojedih rastlin, kjer sem videl redko vrsto nepenthesa prodano za le nekaj sto bahtov, kar pogosto preseneti zbiratelje in privede do spontanih trgov z nasmehom in ročnim dogovorom.
