About

Hitre informacije: Ogromna ležeča figura meri približno 46 metrov v dolžino in 15 metrov v višino, obiskovalce osupne s svojo zlatorumeno oblogo in izjemnimi detajli. Pod stopali krasijo mozaiki iz materinega bisera z 108 simboli sreče, medtem ko obiskovalci v notranjih hodnikih zaznajo vonj kadila in odmeve stopinj.

Insider tips

  • Dress respectfully, cover shoulders and knees, and carry a light scarf for hotter days.
  • Get there at opening to beat tour buses and the midday heat.
  • For unbroken full-length photos, use the north viewing platform facing the Reclining Buddha's head.
  • Book a session at the Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage school on-site, payments are usually cash and bookings are done in person.

Arrived at 8am with almost no line. 200 THB entry was worth it for the Reclining Buddha and murals, avoid the touristy stalls.

Came at 3pm and it was packed with tour groups, ticket line took 30 minutes. 200 THB felt steep, the Reclining Buddha is stunning but bring patience.
