Snabba fakta: Smältvattnet från Tianshan som rinner genom Korlas stadskärna samlas i denna 46 kilometer långa ekologiska korridor, med över 120 000 träd av olika slag planterade längs stränderna. Varje vår besöks platsen av över 30 000 genomflyttande fåglar, däribland svanar och vildänder som söker föda på floden.
Höjdpunkter: Står du på södra stranden i skymningen ser du hur floden speglar den sista gyllene strimman av Tianshans snötäckta toppar, medan rader av silverpopplar i fjärran prasslar i vinden. Lokalbefolkningen säger att den här floden är ett "landskap som andas", för varje tidig morgon kan man se påfåglar flyga ut ur skogen på andra sidan stranden, där vingslagen sveper över vattenytan och rör upp ring efter ring av krusningar.

- There is a birdwatching pavilion in the middle section of the south bank. The best time to spot egrets and kingfishers is from 6:30 to 7:00 am. Bringing binoculars will improve the experience.
- Ride a bicycle eastward along the north bank. About 3 kilometers away, there is a wooden plank road suspended over the water, which is a perfect spot for taking reflection photos.
- There are more locals on weekend mornings. It is recommended to visit on weekday evenings when there are fewer people, the wind is cooler, and the light is softer.
- The poplar forest area at the western end of the riverbank turns golden red in late October. Photography enthusiasts should not miss this time.
