Come at noon, when the carillon plays a full melody and the view from the tower is at its finest. In winter the viewpoints are open for shorter periods, so check the opening hours in advance.

Entry to the town hall is free; climbing the tower costs a symbolic fee (around 30 DKK). There is no combined ticket for multiple attractions in the city, but a visit to the town hall will set you back just a few kroner.

Snabba fakta: I det 60 meter höga tornet spelar varje timme ett genomskinligt klockspel med 38 klockor. Byggnaden ritades av arkitekterna Arne Jacobsen och Erik Møller och invigdes 1941, och stadens nycklar hänger fortfarande i borgmästarens kontor.
