Höjdpunkter: Djurparken erbjuder en sällsynt "Girafffrukost" bakom kulisserna där du står öga mot öga med resliga giraffer medan de tuggar löv bara centimeter från ditt ansikte. - Arrive by 10 AM and head straight to the Oceanium first, when the tunnel is nearly empty and you'll have sharks swimming right over you alone.
- The daily sea lion feeding at 1:30 PM draws big crowds, so stake out a spot by the underwater viewing window 15 minutes early.
- Pack a picnic lunch instead of eating at the on-site cafés, as there are plenty of shaded tables near the children's petting zoo area.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a rain jacket even in summer, as the zoo is spread across 20+ acres with mostly outdoor paths.
