Spent 5 days here and felt it was a bit too slow-paced for me. Weather was scorching in afternoon, so morning activities only. Price-wise, felt slightly expensive for what you get.
If you plan to explore, use local mini-buses instead of taxis, way cheaper and locals are friendly to tourists. It’s a cool way to see the city on a budget.
Ajman surprised me with its laid-back vibe. Not many tourists here, which is refreshing. The local markets are worth a visit, just watch out for pushy vendors.
Food was hit or miss, enjoyed some fresh seafood but options outside hotel areas were limited. Pretty safe and clean but nightlife was basically non-existent.
Try visiting Ajman Museum right before closing time on a Friday. Entrance is free in the last hour, and it's less crowded too. Perfect for history lovers on a budget.
