حقائق سريعة: يقع برج المراقبة هذا من العصور الوسطى على جرف من الحجر الجيري بارتفاع 120 متراً فوق نهر الدانوب، وكان يشكل جزءاً من سلسلة أبراج إشارات تمتد عبر النمسا. جدرانه تتجاوز سماكتها المترين عند القاعدة، وقد بنيت لتحمل هجمات الأعداء والرياح العاتية التي تهب من وادي النهر بالأسفل.
