Rychlá fakta: Vlastní největší sbírku meteoritů v Austrálii, s přibližně 13 tisíci kusy. Nachází se zde také jediná kompletní kostra kytovce zobouna přítomná v australském muzeu.
Zajímavosti: V sále vycpaných zvířat čeká na návštěvníky od roku 1930 tasmánský tygr uchovaný v alkoholu, jeden z mála existujících exemplářů tohoto vyhynulého druhu. Za sklem můžete vidět každý detail jeho těla, včetně charakteristických pruhů na hřbetě, jako by zemřel včera.
