Walk to Sahat Tepe Hill

Rychlá fakta: Pahorek Sahat Tepe patří k sedmi historickým plovdivským vrchům, z nichž každý má mezi místními své vlastní fanoušky. Tento 15 metrů vysoký vrchol zdobí hodinová věž z 19. století, která od roku 1884 střeží rozlehlé střechy města.

Zajímavosti: Na vrcholu najdete ošlehané kamenné hodiny, jejichž jediná ručička stále tiká závratně proti směru hodinových ručiček, což je zvláštnost, která zaskočí prvonávštěvníky a potěší pravidelné hosty. Tento 130 let starý mechanismus vyžaduje ruční natahování každých 48 hodin, rituál, který po tři generace vykonává stejná rodina správců hodin.
