Rychlá fakta: Tři pahorky tvoří starověké jádro Plovdivu a Nebet Tepe je z nich nejvyšší, měří přes 200 metrů. Thrákové toto návrší opevnili poprvé kolem roku 4000 př. n. l. a hradby z pozdějšího řeckého a římského období dodnes stojí spolu s dalekými výhledy na město.
