Rychlá fakta: These dramatic white cliffs stretch 15 kilometers along Lake Ontario's shoreline, rising up to 65 meters above the water. The bluffs were formed over 12,000 years ago by glacial meltwater depositing layers of clay, silt, and sand.
Zajímavosti: Patches of the bluffs erode by roughly 1 meter each year, constantly reshaping the skyline in slow motion. You can actually see distinct rainbow-like bands of color in the cliff faces: deep rust reds, creamy whites, and soft grays from different geological eras pressed together.

- Skip the crowded main lookout and hike the Waterfront Trail east for quieter panoramic viewpoints.
- Bring sturdy shoes if you plan to walk along the beach, the pebbly shoreline shifts constantly and can be tricky underfoot.
- Pack binoculars to spot the nesting colonies of bank swallows that burrow into the soft cliff faces each spring.
- Arrive before 10 AM on summer weekends to snag a parking spot, the lot fills up fast.
