Rychlá fakta: Výstup pokrývá převýšení asi 800 metrů a cesta prochází třemi různými rostlinnými pásy až na vrchol ve výšce 1 050 metrů. Za jasného počasí jsou odtud vidět Laguna Toro, záliv Última Esperanza a až 150 kilometrů vzdálené ledovce v dáli.
Zajímavosti: Vrcholové buky jsou zde ohnuté západními větry až do 45 stupňů a stará kamenná geodetická pyramida se skrývá mezi nimi na samotném vrcholu. Uprostřed naprostého ticha, přerušovaného jen větrem a zvoněním ovčích zvonků z údolí, pohled zachycuje celý hřeben Torres del Paine z výšky 1 050 metrů.

- Wear trekking shoes with good grip, because the forested part of the trail is loose and very steep 30 minutes below the summit.
- Ten minutes before the summit, look for a stone platform with a panorama of Laguna Toro, the ideal secluded photo spot.
- Set out by 9 a.m., because on the trail you encounter the fewest people and the light is best for photos.
- Avoid the hike after a rainy night, because the muddy stretches become slippery and make the ascent tricky.
