Rychlá fakta: Na vyhlídkách vás často uchvátí pocit vzdušnosti a mozaika světel, která proměňuje město v třpytivou tapisérii. Zajímavé je, že ocelová konstrukce obsahuje přibližně 18 038 dílů spojených zhruba 2,5 milionu nýtů, a pravidelná obnova nátěru spotřebuje kolem 60 tun barvy.
Hlavní zajímavosti: Po setmění se každou hodinu na pět minut rozzáří asi 20 000 malých žárovek, jejich třpytivé záblesky byly instalovány Pierrem Bideauem v roce 1985 a jsou viditelné i z několika kilometrů. Na třetí plošině měl Gustave Eiffel malý soukromý salónek, kam pozval hosty jako Thomase Edisona, takže při výstupu narazíte na intimní viktoriánský kout evokující atmosféru 19. století.
