Rychlá fakta: Obsahuje více než 300 000 exponátů pokrývajících 2 000 let historie Makedonie. Mezi nimi se nachází slavný Zlatý věnec z Verginy, působivá zlatá koruna o váze 714 gramů.
Zajímavosti: Nejpůsobivějším exponátem je Zlatý věnec z Verginy, detailně propracovaný věnec z ryzího zlata nalezený v hrobce Filipa II. Návštěvníci oněmí úžasem před zlatými olivovými listy, které vypadají, jako by se pohybovaly ve větru, i přes 2 300 let, které uplynuly.
