Rychlá fakta: Step into a hulking, elevated warehouse and find life-size models, recreated merchant streets, and a full-scale wooden bridge that feels like a movie set come alive. More than 10,000 artifacts are arranged across several floors, with interactive exhibits, dioramas and short theater pieces that bring smells, sounds and the rhythm of city life to the forefront.
Zajímavosti: A 1:1 replica of the Nihonbashi bridge dominates the central gallery, painted clouds above and lacquered railings under your hands while surrounding dioramas recreate market cries and the smell of roasted tea. Upstairs a small stage runs three daily performances using hand-operated puppets and period music, a local practice that fills the air with the clack of wooden geta and surprised laughter.
