Avoid the main tourist market for souvenirs. Walk a couple blocks away for local shops with much better prices and authentic items.
Get local SIM cards at the airport, way cheaper for data. Also, buses run less frequently on weekends, plan accordingly so you don’t get stuck.
Interesting place, very laid back but expect slow service in restaurants. Great for a short getaway, 3 days is enough to see highlights.
Loved the vibes but some spots felt touristy and pricey. Overall nice mix of culture and chill beach days. A bit too hot at midday though.
Weather was amazing but got crowded at popular beaches. Food was good, tried some fresh seafood. Stayed 5 days, felt just right to explore.
