Skip the main street eateries, head to the dockside fish market early morning for fresh, cheaper fish dishes. Way better than tourist spots.
Svolvaer is stunning but expect high prices. Weather was chillier than I thought in July. A couple of days is plenty unless you're really into hiking.
I loved the fresh seafood here, especially the cod. Small town vibes, but some restaurants get crowded fast, so book ahead.
Not much nightlife, mostly peaceful. I stayed 4 nights and it felt just right to explore the fjords and soak in the views.
If you're coming by ferry, grab a local SIM at the harbor for better data, 4G was patchy without it.
