Rychlá fakta: Tři generace rodiny Zubairů shromáždily přes 5 000 artefaktů mapujících ománskou historii, od starověkých šperků po konvice na kávu používané při beduínských pohostinských rituálech. Čtyři domy muzea znovu vytvářejí různé výseky ománského života, včetně plně zařízeného tradičního domu z palmových listů a zbrojní galerie s 500 slavnostními dýkami khandžar.
Zajímavosti: Většina návštěvníků projde přímo kolem malých dveří v hlavním domě, které vedou do ženského madžlisu, odlehlého salonku, kde kdysi ománské ženy bavily své hostitelky mimo dohled mužů.
