Rychlá fakta: Písečná pláž se táhne téměř 1,5 kilometru podél zátoky ve tvaru půlměsíce s tak čistou vodou, že 10 metrů od břehu vidíte dno. Tři historické dřevěné převlékací kabinky zvané „palazzine" dodnes stojí podél břehu jako strážci už od počátku 20. století.
Zajímavosti: Při západu slunce celá zátoka vzplane, když slunce klesá za Monte Gallo, a asi na 15 dokonalých minut promění vodu v tekuté zlato. Místní rodiny se na stejných místech koupou po generace a staré dřevěné palazzine stále prodávají čerstvou citronovou granitu a briošky se sezamovými semínky přesně jako ve dvacátých letech 20. století.
