Rychlá fakta: Slaný vánek a vůně grilovaných mořských plodů provázejí širokou promenádu, kde kavárny a stánky vytvářejí živou, společenskou atmosféru. Místo láká více než milion návštěvníků ročně, a při západu slunce se promenáda promění v pulzující směs světel, hudby a pouličních umělců.
Hlavní zajímavosti: Na konci června, během noci svátku Sant Joan, stovky lidí zapalují malé ohýnky po písku, voní grilovaná ryba a mořská sůl a kolem půlnoci začínají ohňostroje, jejichž dunění cítíte až v hrudi. Kousek od promenády stojí zlatá ocelová socha ryby od Franka Gehryho dlouhá přibližně 56 metrů, v poledním slunci se leskne jako tekutá měď a kolem ní procházejí běžci, prodejci piva a staří rybáři s košíky ančoviček.
