Visit the Royal Chapel of Granada
Nejlepší čas k návštěvě
Best to come right after opening at 10:00, before organized groups arrive. Afternoons from Tuesday to Thursday are the quietest of the week.
Tipy pro rozpočet
A standard ticket costs about 5 euros, and a combined ticket with the nearby cathedral works out cheaper than separate entries. Admission is free on certain days of the year, so it is worth checking the calendar on the official website before planning your visit.

Insider tipy
- Go down the stairs to the crypt, because that is where the royal sarcophagi are located, and most tourists only stop upstairs.
- Bring a 1 euro coin for the lighting in the sacristy display cases, otherwise the details of the golden reliquaries will remain in semi-darkness.
- Photography of the interior is allowed without flash, but the crypt is too dark for good photos, so focus on the altar and the Renaissance grilles.
- Combine the visit with a walk through Albaicín and the cathedral, since all three places are within a five-minute walk of each other.
