Rychlá fakta: Tato rezervace o rozloze 32 000 hektarů je domovem více než 500 slonů, kteří zde volně pobíhají. Vyskytuje se zde více než 200 druhů ptáků, včetně srílanského páva a orla.
Zajímavosti: Je to jedno z mála míst, kde můžete vidět slony z bezprostřední blízkosti, aniž byste se museli bát tygra nebo levharta. Když se ráno zvedne mlha, jsou u řeky k vidění stáda slonů, jak se koupou, což je naprosto nezapomenutelný pohled.

- Wear khaki or green colored clothes and avoid bright colors so as not to distract the animals.
- Book an open-top jeep for the safari; photography is difficult in a closed jeep.
- Animals are rarely seen between 12 pm and 3 pm, so choose morning or evening time.
- Be sure to carry binoculars and a water bottle with you; water is not available inside the park.
