Late August through September when the birch leaves turn gold and students are back on campus creating a lively atmosphere. Winter visits (December-February) are also memorable to experience the tunnel system and see the campus lit up against the snow.

Rychlá fakta: Studentský život se zde točí kolem systému národů, kde 14 různých studentských národů pořádá vše od hospod až po klubové večery pro 36 000 zapsaných studentů. Areál plynule splývá s okolním březovým lesem, takže každá budova má díky velkým oknům výhled na stromy.

Zajímavosti: Třetina areálu je postavena pod zemí, propojena 6kilometrovou sítí tunelů známou jako "The Tube", která studentům umožňuje přesouvat se mezi přednáškami bez vycházení ven během krutých zimních dnů. Tyto jasně osvětlené chodby obsahují studentské umělecké práce, studijní koutky a dokonce i malou posilovnu, takže působí spíše jako tajné město než jako chodba.
